This is a toolbook Influenced by IKEA assembly instructions, Ping envisioned it as a toolkit that could be easily disassembled and reassembled. Using the same A4 paper, he folded it in different ways to create simple yet layered patterns. The cover cleverly utilizes the display area of three overlapping books.
The binding with saddle stitching and reinforced with Velcro. This method facilitates disassembly and reassembly and also provides a design option to accommodate more books of different sizes, thus making a larger reference book.
